Night of Sonnyboy Hard Rock Cafe Tour, Miami, Florida 8 January 2023

The Hard Rock Cafe Miami played host to a special event last night: the kickoff of the Night of Sonnyboy Tour, organized by Rock Autism Founder Max Muscato. 

The tour, which benefits Rock Autism Multimedia Vocational Programs and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, is a way for Muscato to raise awareness about his brother’s struggles with both autism and addiction.

Proceeds from the tour will go towards developing the Autism Center at Miami Children’s, a cause that is clearly close to Muscato’s heart. In addition to raising funds, the Night of Sonnyboy Tour also serves as a platform for Muscato to perform music from his upcoming feature film and musical, Sonnyboy.

The songs, which Muscato has described as his interpretations of his brother’s experiences as an addict, including time spent in prison, being shot by a cop, and being abused in mental health facilities, are meant to inspire others and help them find their own voices.

The Hard Rock Cafe Miami is a fitting venue for this tour, as it is located in the heart of Miami and is known for its love of music and support of charitable causes. The city of Miami, with its vibrant culture and diverse population, is a perfect backdrop for the Night of Sonnyboy Tour and its important message of hope and resilience.
